Talent Inclusivity

Prosperity does not come alone, and there is no such thing as a one-person team in a successful decentralized system that seeks resiliency. Prime will require contributor expertise across various domains to facilitate the adoption of Open Finance. All members are encouraged to participate in the search for and inclusion of great talent for the ecosystem. Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies directly address and offer an alternative to bureaucratic processes that typically prevent financial inclusion. They provide an on-ramp to the permissionless global financial system. Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) help ensure that everyone can have equal access to opportunities within this new system. It will take conscious and deliberate effort on behalf of all members to honor a normative culture of inclusivity.

Background Diversity

In biology, it is observed that the richer the diversity of life, the greater the opportunity for medical discoveries, economic development, and adaptive responses to new challenges. Diversity contributes to ecosystem stability, which allows ecosystems to effectively withstand distress. Holding diversity as a fundamental value, PrimeDAO will perpetually grow its network of people, programs, and tools designed to help facilitate the adoption of Open Finance. PrimeDAO celebrates multiple approaches and points of view and hopes to inspire an ecosystem that is diverse in its membership, proposals, opinions, and economic backgrounds. All qualified candidates will receive consideration for work or participation without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, culture, political viewpoints, or veteran status. PrimeDAO is committed to uniting a diverse community of participants because it makes the DAO stronger.

Integrity

Integrity — or self-accountability — is indispensable to PrimeDAO’s mission of facilitating the adoption of Open Finance. The level of success within the ecosystem will be correlated to the level of trust reached between participants. All DAO members are expected to act with the highest level of integrity. In striving to create a sustainable model for decentralized autonomous organizations, and acknowledging a greater purpose than self-service, PrimeDAO participants pledge to:

• Act with the utmost integrity and pursue work in an honest and ethical manner.

• Obey the letter and spirit of the law in their respective jurisdictions.

• Take responsibility for one’s actions and consider the effects on others

• Strive to create a sustainable economic and social environment.

• Be accountable to oneself and the PrimeDAO community.

Facilitating the Adoption of Open Finance

PrimeDAO’s mission is to facilitate the wider adoption of decentralized finance by coordinating and cultivating projects that promote safety, reliability, liquidity, and open access while avoiding the centralized appropriation of critical financial infrastructure through decentralized governance. All members and participants are anticipated to embrace and assume responsibility for this mission. In general, blockchain is catalyzing the innovation needed to kick off a fourth industrial revolution, enabling a freer and fairer world for all. PrimeDAO aims to embody innovation by creating a suitable home for innovators who share in this vision.
